Matilda is a funny, witty, and heartwarming story!

A short summary of the plot Who wouldn’t admire a smart and sensitive girl like Matilda? She learned to read when she was only three years old and now devours one book after another. However, her parents don’t think she’s special at all. They believe books are trash, and they see Matilda as nothing more than a nuisance they wish would go away. Matilda also doesn’t get along with her school principal, Miss Trunchbull, who loves to crush the spirits of little children. The only person who truly understands how extraordinary Matilda is, is her teacher Miss Honey.

One day, Miss Trunchbull wrongly accuses Matilda, and in that moment, an intense anger builds up inside her, awakening a special power. Matilda, who has already played many pranks on her parents, now has the ability to teach the wicked Miss Trunchbull a lesson!
