Jonas Sakalauskas is a well-known opera singer, composer and creator of musical theater projects, who graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater with a master’s degree in opera singing, where he studied with Professor Virgilijus Noreika. In addition to his singing career, Jonas is also a conductor and organizer of musical activities, having founded the “Baltic Chamber Opera Theatre”. He was the director of the Klaipėda State Musical Theatre and produced many projects, fostering contemporary opera and musical performances. Jonas actively participates in the cultural life of Lithuania, promotes the implementation of new artistic ideas and various cultural initiatives.

Jonas Sakalauskas participates in this project of the musical “The Little Prince” as the author of the script and original songs. His brother Rimas Sakalauskas, a famous visual artist, is responsible for the light installations and projections that will transform the stage into a starry universe.
