Serenades: O sole mio

Tonight at the Music Room, enjoy a vibrant performance by students from the VDU Music Academy under the guidance of Professors Sabina MARTINAITYTĖ and Audronė EITMANAVIČIŪTĖ. The lineup includes international competition winners Deimantė BAČIULYTĖ, Emilija BAGDONAITĖ, Liepa DABRIŠKAITĖ, Paulius KATILIAVAS, Ugnė STRAŽNICKAITĖ, Ieva VAIVADAITĖ, and the ensemble “Two and a Half Tenors” (led by Prof. Algirdas Janutas): Vilius VENCKUS, Ignas ŠČESNULEVIČIUS, Liudvikas SUVOROVAS, Domas SAULEVIČIUS, and Salomėja PETRONYTĖ.

The entire event will be conducted by pianists Prof. Audronė EITMANAVIČIŪTĖ and Gražina ZALATORIENĖ.
You will be kept awake by operettas from E. Kalman and R. Stolz, zarzuelas from E. Arrieta and F. Barbieri, musical numbers from J. Bock and L. Cohen, arias and ensembles from L. Arditi, Fr. P. Tosti, P. Sorozábal, C. A. Bixio, E. Capua, and E. Cannio, as well as songs from A. Šabaniauskas’ repertoire.
