Continuing the Legacy of a Classical Genius: W.A. Mozart’s Chamber Music Concert Series

We are thrilled to continue our series dedicated to the chamber music of the Classical era’s genius, W.A. Mozart! This ambitious project, led by pianist Alexander Paley, brings Mozart’s chamber masterpieces to life with a stellar lineup of artists from different generations. United by a shared vision, these musicians include violinist Raimondas Butvila, Amiram Ganz—professor of violin and chamber music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna—violist Tomas Savickas, cellist Marius Dominykas Sakavičius, clarinetist Karolis Kolakauskas, and the Vytautas Magnus Trio, under the artistic direction of Alexander Paley.

The new concert cycle, AMADEUS, will accompany Organum Hall audiences until mid-May, presenting a unique program each month. Over the course of the series, audiences will experience two of Mozart’s piano quartets, twelve violin sonatas, and five piano trios. Mozart’s music serves as a diary of his life—one untouched by mundane concerns, yet always soaring with the spirit of its creator.
